This is a great cordless drill. It is comfortable to hold and well balanced. It has more than enough power for the do-it-yourselfer. And the batteries last a long time. Yes, I said "batteries" because mine came with two, plus the charger and a nice carrying case. The chuck holds the drill bits firmly with no slippage. The speed is easily adjusted by the pull of the trigger. I'm not sure what the actual name of it is. But, you can adjust the amount of torque that is applied to the bit so that you don't accidentally strip screws, etc. And you don't need to find an extension cord each time you need to use this drill. Just grab it and go to work! I wish I would have bought this drill (or one like it) a long time ago.

Well balanced and strong for the 18 volt size. This is also lighter than a 14.4 volt Dewalt I have. Due to the design, it stands up even with a heavy bit in the chuck.
I am only sorry I didn't buy two or three when they went on sale.

All around an exellent buyOctober 9, 2009 Brint R. Riggs I've been using this drill for three weeks almost everyday. The power is great and one charge last usually all day. Best thing is that the batteries are charged by the same charger as my old 14 volt NiCad drill! Now I have two chargers.
